How do I invite my partner to KindL?
After creating your account, go to your Profile tab and tap "Connect with Partner." You'll get a unique invite code or link to share with your partner. Once they download the app and enter the code, you'll be connected and can start sharing challenges and memories together.
What's the difference between the free and premium plans?
The free plan gives you access to daily challenges, basic activities, and limited scrapbook features. KindL Premium unlocks all journeys, unlimited scrapbook pages, the AI Scrapbook Editor, advanced challenge categories, and priority support. You can upgrade at any time from the app.
How do I cancel my subscription?
Subscriptions are managed through Apple. To cancel: open your iPhone Settings → tap your name at the top → Subscriptions → KindL → Cancel Subscription. Your premium access will continue until the end of the current billing period.
Can I request a refund?
Refunds are processed by Apple, not KindL. To request a refund, visit reportaproblem.apple.com and follow Apple's refund process. If you have a specific issue that prompted your refund request, we'd love to hear from you at kindl.support@gmail.com.
Are my photos and journal entries private?
Yes. Your photos and journal entries are private and only visible to you and your connected partner. We store them securely on encrypted servers and never share them with third parties. See our Privacy Policy for full details.
How does the AI Scrapbook Editor work?
The AI Scrapbook Editor lets you customize your scrapbook pages using natural language. Just type something like "make it feel more romantic" or "use a vintage style" and the AI will suggest changes to your layout, colors, and design. You can accept, adjust, or undo any changes. The feature uses Claude by Anthropic.
What are Journeys?
Journeys are guided multi-day programs designed around specific relationship topics — like Love Languages, Communication, or Intimacy. Each journey contains challenges, prompts, and activities that you and your partner complete together over time. Completing journeys unlocks rewards and badges.
How do I unlock new features?
Many features in KindL are unlocked through use — completing challenges, uploading memories, and reviewing dates earns you progress toward unlocking premium areas like the Vault (scrapbook) and new journeys. Premium subscribers get access to all features immediately.
Sign in with Apple isn't working. What should I do?
If you tapped "Sign in with Apple" and the sign-in failed or your account was created without your name, follow these steps: (1) On your iPhone, open the Settings app and tap your name at the top. (2) Tap Sign-In & Security → Sign in with Apple. (3) Find KindL in the list and tap it, then tap Stop Using Apple ID. (4) Open KindL and tap "Sign in with Apple" again — Apple will re-prompt you for your name and email. If you're still having trouble, email us at kindl.support@gmail.com.
I forgot my password. How do I reset it?
On the login screen, tap "Forgot Password" and enter your email address. You'll receive a password reset link within a few minutes. Check your spam folder if you don't see it. If you're still having trouble, contact us at kindl.support@gmail.com.
How do I delete my account?
You can delete your account from within the app: go to Profile → Settings → Delete Account. This will permanently remove your account and all associated data within 30 days. This action cannot be undone. If you're having trouble deleting your account, email us at kindl.support@gmail.com and we'll process it manually.
The app isn't working correctly. What should I do?
Try these steps first: (1) Force-close and reopen the app. (2) Check that you have a stable internet connection. (3) Make sure your iOS software is up to date. (4) Delete and reinstall the app — your data is saved to our servers so you won't lose anything. If the problem persists, email us at kindl.support@gmail.com with a description of the issue and your device model.
Can I use KindL if I'm long distance?
Absolutely — KindL was designed with long-distance couples in mind. All features work remotely. You and your partner can complete challenges independently, share memories, and stay connected no matter where you are.
